life is funny

Yesterday morning I posted an entry that ended like this:

I had a dream last night that I had a gig in St. John's. On the subject of the passage of time, it's been a year and a half since I performed on home turf. That actually really saddens me--I haven't been home nearly enough, and never at a time when a show was happening. I've grown a lot as a person and an artist in that time, so I'm really looking forward to getting a chance to perform in SJC again soon.

Just a few hours later, the universe aligned like ten things and it looks like that's going to happen. Weirdest coincidence ever.

Life is funny sometimes, I'll update once I know more.

For now I'm on my way to Las Vegas and Tribal Massive. Sitting at Pearson, through customs and all that, just waiting for boarding to get under way, and doing a little research for some PR stuff.

It's been an exciting couple of weeks and I've got another exciting month ahead of me. Followed by an exciting summer. So far my motto in 2011 has been work hard, play hard. 2010 was awesome, but 2011 is off to such a crazy, amazing start, even better so far. I feel like I want to keep pushing to see how much cooler life can get.
