Things I am currently thinking about:
- unconfirmed but upcoming performances
- Rachel Brice intensive this weekend!
- videos to make to apply for shows
- existential crisis
The Toronto shows were an absolutely phenomenal experience for myself, as well as all the Lavish ladies I'm sure. Montreal and Wakefield were both amazing as well. We got to dance at some truly awesome venues, including the Rialto, Cabaret Mile End (a total Montreal fav of mine) and of course, our Fringe "home" in Montreal, Tangente. As always, dancing in Montreal always leaves me anxious for my next opportunity to go back.
I also saw a lot of great shows, including a few that I just have to call out for their phenomenal-ness.
- '33 (A Kabarett)by Bremner Duthie
- Clap for the Wolfman by Shannon Gillen + Guests
- Chroniques du Laboratoire Unik by Labokracboom
I learned a lot of things, big and small, about traveling with a show. I'm looking forward to taking all the stuff I've picked up this time around and going forward a better performer, tour-er and organizer with whatever project takes me on the road next.
Things are happening so I expect I'll be updating here in the near future with lots of exciting news!
