I'm happy to announce that I will be teaching a workshop in St. John's on August 21!
You can learn all the details, RSVP and chat about it on the Facebook event page, but here's the low-down on what I'll be teaching. It's called Work Hard, Play Hard.
For the first time since moving to Toronto in 2009, Heather Labonté will be teaching bellydance in St. John's!This is super exciting to me for a lot of reasons. If you're in St. John's and you'd like to attend, please feel free to contact me for registration or more information at info@heatherdances.com! Space is really, really limited so if you want in, contact me soon! I'll be writing more in coming weeks about this for sure, but I really wanted to announce this news with you all as soon as I finalized all the details.
Join Heather for Work Hard, Play Hard, a two-hour workshop designed for dancers of all levels and styles of bellydance looking to enhance their dance in the studio and onstage. She will share her love of kickass drills and rocking combos for a class that will work the body, tease the brain and inspire you to move!
By bringing a work hard, play hard mindset to practice, class and rehearsal, you will bring your dance effortless awesomeness onstage. We'll work hard to refine fundamental concepts through fun, high energy drilling exercises, and then we'll play hard, expanding our vocabulary for improvisation and choreography using challenging, feel-good combinations inspired from within and outside bellydance.
